HTTP and SMTP will be upgraded on May 27th beginning at 10 PM EDT (-0400 GMT) and concluding before 12 AM EDT.  No service interruption is anticipated during this upgrade.  Apache (HTTP) will be upgraded from 2.2.17 to 2.2.19 to address a few instabilities seen on servers since rolling out upgrades in March.  Additionally, our suexec wrapper modifications,  presently deployed on apollo, will be rolled out to all servers.  This introduces new suexec logging available under /var/log/httpd/suexec_log.

Postfix (SMTP) is a general maintenance upgrade from 2.6 to 2.8.  Postfix 2.8 includes a new caching DNSBL that will alleviate unnecessary DNS checks by remembering DNSBL results.  This software has been in testing since April.
