Apollo will be taken down at 12 AM EDT (-0400 GMT) on Friday, October 26 to replace all memory banks in an ongoing effort to resolve stability issues present in newer kernels (>3.4). During this time, the backplane will also be replaced. The total outage window is expected to be 30 minutes.
Helios will also be taken down at this time to replace 1 faulty stick of memory that has failed ECC checks. This replacement will occur simultaneously as Apollo is tended. This should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
