Both ns1 and ns2 nameservers used internally by Apis Networks for DNS resolution occurring from within the server will be upgraded tonight beginning at 12 AM EDT (-0400 GMT) to BIND 9.9. This is to address a recent stability issues with both nameservers that began returning erroneous DNS information in tandem.
The upgrade should take approximately 1 hour to complete. During this time, DNS lookups will be slower than normal taking upwards to 5 seconds to succeed. This is not anticipated to significantly impact normal operation.
